How often is the examination given?

  The examination (PM Lexis) is given yearly, the second Tuesday in June.  You may take the examination in another state.  This schedule is under review so please contact the board for more information.

 

What is the difference between the Podiatry Board and the American Podiatric Medical Association?

  The Podiatry Board has as its main goal protection of the public by regulating the professionals it licenses.  The American Podiatric Medical Association is an organization that promotes the profession of podiatry.

 

How do I obtain a list of licensed podiatrists?

 

Please send to the board office your request along with a stamped self-addressed, envelope.  Mailing labels and disks are not available.

 

How do I obtain a license?
