Eligibility
To be eligible for the program, an applicant must meet the following criteria:
- Be a South Dakota resident
- Be diagnosed with HIV
- Have an Income at or less than 300% of the federal poverty level (see table below)

- AIDS Drug Reimbursement Program (ADAP) – financial assistance for specific prescription drugs - formulary
- Patient Care (Home and Community-Based Care) – financial assistance for specific outpatient medical and support services
- Continuation of Health Insurance – financial assistance for insurance premiums, deductibles, and co-payments
