The Office of Family Nutrition Services (OFNS) is committed to expanding access to nutrition services, strengthening rural and statewide health equity, and advancing preventive health through high-quality, inclusive nutrition programs.
Our goals are to:

- Develop new nutrition service pathways
- Addressing rural service gaps
- Cultivate a skilled, supported workforce
- Create long-term public health impact for all South Dakotans.
OFNS aims to expand its services to support vulnerable populations in South Dakota through mobile nutrition offices, telehealth nutrition services, and innovative service delivery models.
