I have coordinated the Pine Ridge Scrubs Camp for the past 4 years (excluding 2020 due to the pandemic). Having grown up on the reservation, I know the value of the exposure to the many healthcare careers/professions and the need to start as early as possible in providing the information to our youth. I appreciate the SD DOH, the venues that we use on the Pine Ridge reservation to hold the camp, and the many students that take the time to attend the Scrubs Camp.
