Scrubs Camp Details

Camp is free for students, but spots may be limited. It is important to hand in your completed registration as soon as possible.

Camp Med for middle school students is intended to be the length of one class period, but it can vary depending on activities and the number of presenters. Expect one to two hours, but some may last four hours.

Scrubs camp for high schoolers is more in-depth and will occur for one school day. Expect to be at camp from 8:00am to 3:00pm.

Camps consist of sitting, standing, walking, and performing activities, so, students will want to wear comfy, school appropriate clothing.

Some camps offer different meals. It is best to check with the Camp Coordinator or refer to information provided to see what is available at the camp you wish to attend. A light breakfast and lunch are typically provided but can vary depending on the type of camp.

If your school is registering students, the school or a school administrator will usually provide transportation. If you are registering your child, you may need to transport your child. Parents are always welcome to attend the camp as well!

Activities may vary among Camp Med and Scrubs Camp. Some camps may include a blood draw, suturing pigs’ feet, and insulin injection into an orange.

Photos and videos may be taken at camps too. To obtain parents/guardians' permission to take pictures and record videos, a “Consent” section is included in the student registration packet. It is also there to remind you what activities may occur. If you have questions, please reach out to me or your Camp Coordinator.
