Delta Dental Mobile Program
With fully equipped, traveling dental clinic vans, Delta Dental provides dental care to 5,000+ kids in need across South Dakota every year.
Mobile Program care comes at no cost to the child or family, even without insurance.
Horizon Dental Clinics
Family, urgent and routine dental care through one of Horizon’s eight dental clinics supports those living in or around rural communities with affordable dental care. This includes preventative care, saving people money by limiting serious dental conditions from occurring.
Sioux Falls Dental Clinic — USD Dental Hygiene School
People in need of reduced dental care rates can visit Sioux Falls Dental Clinic, where USD dental hygiene students learn through hands-on experience under the supervision of licensed professionals.
Medicaid Dental Services
Adults and children alike can get dental care covered through South Dakota Medicaid. This includes an array of dental services, such as exams, cleanings, fillings, x-rays, crowns, root canals, dentures and more.
Outside of dental providers, Community Health clinics, and a few other external partnerships, offer fluoride varnish application. Children in need of fluoride varnish treatment can also attend events across the state where application may be free or at a reduced cost.
