The South Dakota Department of Health is pleased to announce the Honoring Mothers: Indigenous and Integrative Health Summit to be held on September 29th, 2026, at Cedar Shores Resort and Conference Center in Oacoma, SD. This event is intended to build bridges among Western medicine, traditional healing practices, and integrative and collaborative health approaches, with a special focus on Maternal and Child Health. The intended audience for this event includes healthcare professionals, tribal and public health practitioners, community organizations, and local health coalition members.

There are a limited number of travel scholarships available.
