Induced Abortion Reports

The South Dakota Department of Health creates an annual report of the induced abortions reported to the South Dakota Department of Health from the previous year that is made available online each year. In these reports are the total number of abortions, demographic information such as race of the mother, city, and county of residence, age and marital status, the average cost of the abortion, and if there were any complications or fetal abnormalities. No identifying information on patients is reported.
