On May 17th, the White House announced U.S. households can order an additional 8 free at-home, rapid COVID-19 tests at COVIDTests.gov. For more information, visit here.

Operation Expanded Testing — provides no-cost laboratory-based testing to childcare centers, K-12 schools, congregate settings, and other communities who have been disproportionately affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

On May 5th, CDC updated the Long COVID or Post-COVID Conditions web page, which provides an overview of what is known about including risks, symptoms, and prevention. CDC also published a new web page, Post-COVID Conditions: CDC Science, to better inform audiences about what CDC and other researchers are doing to answer key questions about post-COVID conditions.
