The incidence of TB decreased gradually during the period from 1993 to 2019, reaching 2.7 cases per 100,000 in 2019. Incidence substantially declined in 2020 to 2.2 cases per 100,000, coinciding with the COVID-19 pandemic. During 2021, TB incidence partially rebounded but remained substantially below pre-pandemic years. During 2022, TB incidence increased slightly to 2.5 cases per 100,000 representing a total of 8,300 cases.
