The South Dakota Department of Health (SD DOH) Heart Disease and Stroke Prevention Program (HDSPP) is offering funding to support evidence-based strategies that improve the prevention and management of cardiovascular disease (CVD) across South Dakota. Heart disease remains the leading cause of death in the state, and high blood pressure and high cholesterol continue to be major risk factors impacting adult health statewide.
