Three Tips for Talking with Teens
Keep teens safe by setting clear boundaries, promoting open communication, and encouraging them to be their best selves.
- Create a safe place for conversation. Don't judge, accuse, interrupt, or interrogate.
- Be a good listener. When we try to solve their problems, they stop sharing.
- Offer constructive feedback to help them shape their own ideas.
