About Project Firstline

Project Firstline provides healthcare professionals with the knowledge they need to stop the spread of infectious disease threats in healthcare settings. Training materials include short videos, interactive scenarios, toolkits, and downloadable resources, all designed for flexibility and relevance to real-world practice.

Whether you’re a nurse, EMS provider, technician, or environmental services worker, you can use Project Firstline resources to build IPC confidence and skills that support safer care.

Project Firstline is for everyone working in healthcare, including:

  • Nurses and nursing assistants
  • Physicians and advanced practice providers
  • EMS and first responders
  • Environmental services and housekeeping staff
  • Lab and radiology techs

This module contains four (4) short video episodes (1, 2, 3, and 5) designed to prepare frontline healthcare workers to protect themselves, their patients, and their communities from infectious disease threats. This series of trainings presents not just the recommended infection control practices, but the science and reasoning behind them.
