Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion

The Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion has two divisions, one for infectious diseases and one focused on chronic diseases. Each works to manage and prevent diseases in the respective categories.

Epidemiology, Surveillance, and Informatics Center

The Epidemiology, Surveillance, and Informatics Center has responsibility for communicable and infectious diseases including Influenza, vaccine-preventable disease, diarrheal disease, vectorborne disease, zoonotic disease, and lead poisoning.
