The mini funding application for the Youth Tobacco Prevention Toolkit is now available! The purpose of this mini-funding is to provide the opportunity to schools and organizations that work with youth funds to implement tobacco control education activities, policies, and curriculums in their school, organization, and/or community.
Cancer Programs Implementation Grant Request for Applications
The South Dakota Department of Health's Cancer Programs are pleased to announce the release of the Implementation Grant Request for Applications (RFA). The programs are seeking applications that support the South Dakota Cancer Plan, focus on evidence-based intervention implementation, and promote equitable and accessible cancer prevention, early detection, and cancer survivorship efforts in South Dakota.
2024 Recruitment Assistance Program (RAP)
The Recruitment Assistance Program (RAP) provides qualifying physicians, dentists, physician assistants, certified nurse practitioners, certified nurse midwives, or certified registered nurse anesthetists incentive payment in return for three continuous years of practice in an eligible rural community.
2024 Rural Healthcare Facility Recruitment Assistance Program
The 2024 Rural Healthcare Facility Recruitment Assistance Program application cycle opened on May 1, 2024. This program provides a $10,000 incentive payment to eligible health professionals who complete a three-year, full-time service commitment in a community with a population of 10,000 or less.
