Telemedicine Funding for Nursing Facilities and Assisted Living Centers RE-OPENED!
As a result of the legislature passing Senate Bill 209, the South Dakota Department of Health has $5,000,000 of funding available to provide telemedicine technology and infrastructure to assisted living centers and nursing homes in remote and underserved parts of South Dakota.
- The Department of Health is re-opening the application period for SNF/NF and ALCs that are eligible and have not yet applied for the $5M telemedicine funding opportunity. This application period is open through October 31st, 2024.
