President Reierson called the meeting to order at 8:35 A.M., MST
Approval of Minutes: Colleran moved and Bartley seconded to approve the minutes of the February 28, 2007 meeting. Motion carried by unanimous vote.
Financial Report: Lesselyoung reported as of June 29, 2007,
year to date revenue of $20,600.73; year to date expenses of $16,516.60; and cash balance of $45,300.07. The Board discussed the financial report. Apa moved and Bartley seconded to approve the financial report as presented. Motion carried by unanimous vote.
Complaints Investigations Update: Bartley updated the Board on the complaint procedure. Apa moved and Reierson seconded to enter executive session to discuss complaints at 9:00AM. Motion carried by unanimous vote. Apa moved and Colleran seconded to exit executive session at 9:15AM. Motion carried by unanimous vote.
Complaint #121-Bartley recommended the complaint be dismissed due to lack of substantive evidence. Apa moved and Reierson seconded to dismiss. Motion carried by unanimous vote.
Complaint #123-Bartley recommended the complaint be dismissed due to lack of substantive evidence. Apa moved and Reierson seconded to dismiss. Motion carried by unanimous vote.
FYI-ASHA New Standards for CCC: The Board was provided an update from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association regarding the new Standards for the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Audiology, which were implemented on January 7, 2007. ASHA requested the Board post information on the website or send a mailing to the licensee database. Following discussion, the Board advised it is ASHA’s responsibility to inform their members on the changes.
Update on revisions for practicum sheets: Board was provided a copy of current practicum sheets.
Schedule Next Meeting: The next meeting is scheduled for January 7, 2008 either by teleconference or in person if there are applicants to test.

Colleran moved and Bartley seconded to license applicants upon successfully passing the practicum and written examinations. Bartley moved and Kennedy seconded to adjourn the meeting. President Reierson adjourned the meeting at 9:50AM MST.
