The Board of Funeral Service convened on Tuesday, July 21, 2009 on the Digital Dakota Network at Brookings-South Dakota State University, SPC203, 101 Pugsley Center, Pierre-500 E. Capitol-CAP A, Rapid City-South Dakota School of Mines and Technology-CB109-501 E. St. Joseph St., Spearfish-Black Hills State University-E.Y. Library, Sioux Falls- UC282S-2205 Career Place and Tyndall-Tyndall HS-1404 Fir St. The purpose of the meeting was to conduct a public hearing on the proposed rules changes set forth below:

Members of the Board in Attendance: Daryl Isburg, Susan Bentsen, Tim Bachman, Jim Goglin, Anthony Nelson, Alfred Rude.
Members of the Board Absent: Jim Benham, Howard Sogn
Others in Attendance: Carol Tellinghuisen, Executive Secretary, Paula Spargur, Executive Assistant.
President Isburg opened the Public Hearing at 2:04 PM MT. There being no members of the public present and no written testimony from the public, the members proceeded to discuss and vote upon the rules. Bachman moved and Alfred seconded to adopt the rules. Motion carried by roll call vote; Isburg-yes, Bentsen-yes, Bachman-yes, Goglin-yes, Rude –yes. There being no further rules business; President Isburg called for a motion to adjourn. Goglin moved and Rude seconded to adjourn the meeting at 2:07 PM MT. Motion carried by unanimous vote.
