Dr. Robin Lecy called the meeting to order at 1:15 p.m. following new doctor matriculation. Present were Dr. Donn Fahrendorf, Dr. Mark Bledsoe, Dr. Mark Steiner, Tom Stanton and Marcia Walter.
Dr. Steiner made a motion to approve the secretaries’ report as written. Motion carried.
Marcia Walter presented the treasurer’s report. The board currently has $5,096 in the local account and $130,064 in the state account. With no additions or corrections, the board accepted the treasurer’s report as printed.
Marcia Walter gave the peer review report. Dr. Steiner made a motion to approve the report as presented. Motion carried.
Dr. Lecy entertained a motion to go into executive session at 1:30 p.m. for investigative report. Dr. Bledsoe made a motion to come out of executive session at 2:15 p.m. Dr. Bledsoe made a motion to approve the investigative report for case #25/05 and #26/05. Motion carried.
Dr. Fahrendorf made a motion to send Dr. Robin Lecy, Dr. Mark Steiner and Marcia Walter to the FCLB/ACBA meeting in Portland, OR in May. Motion carried. Dr. Bledsoe made a motion to have Dr. Steiner be the delegate to the FCLB and Dr. Lecy be the delegate to the NBCE. Motion carried.
Discussion was held regarding proposed rules changes. Tom Stanton and Marcia Walter will continue working on proposed changes and readdress the board at the next scheduled meeting.
Discussion regarding specialty listings was tabled until the March meeting. Dr. Bledsoe and Marcia Walter will look into this issue further.
Dr. Steiner made a motion to approve the preceptor application for Michael Hendricks with Dr. Alan Bergquist. Motion passed.
Dr. Fahrendorf made a motion to approve the inactive to active application for Dr. John Freeseman. Motion carried. Dr. Bledsoe made a motion to approve the following new doctors pending completion of their files: Dr. Mitchell Anderson, Dr. John Karabatsos and Dr. Michelle Schochenmaier. Motion carried.
With no further business, Dr. Lecy entertained a motion to adjourn at 4:25 p.m. Motion carried.
