What is LIFEPAK?
The LIFEPAK is a series of advanced cardiac monitors/defibrillators used by EMS personnel to diagnose and treat cardiac emergencies. The latest model, LIFEPAK 15 v4, can record vital signs, respiratory metrics, and cardiac rhythm while providing defibrillation therapy and other treatments. The South Dakota Department of Health (SDDOH) is investing $11.6 million to equip 345 ambulances with LIFEPAK 15 v4 devices to improve emergency medical services in the state of South Dakota.
