Shopping with WIC

The SD WIC Mobile App allows you to check your benefit balance, scan items at the store to see if they are WIC approved, and keep track of future appointments.
WIC Locations
WIC offices are located throughout South Dakota and have staff ready to help you learn more about the program.
Breastfeeding Support
The South Dakota Breastfeeding Peer Counseling Program is offered free of charge to WIC participants. Pregnant women and moms who choose to breastfeed can receive breastfeeding support from our peer counselors.
Physicians & Health Professionals
Support from physicians is vital to the mission of WIC to safeguard the health and well-being of South Dakota women, infants, and children. It is important that WIC staff and physicians work together to achieve this goal.
Vendors
WIC-authorized grocery stores and pharmacies are the final step in the WIC cycle. By supplying the nutritious foods needed, infants and children can have a healthy start to life.
