South Dakota Board of Nursing

The Dakota Nurse Connection (DNC) is a quarterly journal published by the South Dakota and North Dakota Boards of Nursing. Each issue is distributed to all actively licensed LPNs and RNs in both states and to nurse employers and nurse educators. Nurses, students, and professionals from healthcare organizations turn to this publication for updates on board recommendations on clinical practice topics, nursing education program approvals, government affairs initiatives, disciplinary outcomes, and other advertised information.

Subscriptions:  All actively licensed nurses in South Dakota and North Dakota will receive a copy at their home address, unless requested to be removed from the distribution list.  Others may request a subscription, email: Abbey.Bruner@state.sd.us

Article Submissions:  Requests to publish scholarly or informative items dealing with healthcare topics may be submitted to Abbey.Bruner@state.sd.us.  Articles will be reviewed by the Executive Director and Nursing Program Specialists; authors will be contacted via email regarding acceptance.
