Clinical Enrichment Program
Clinical Enrichment Programs (CEP) allow nursing students the opportunity to continue learning the practice of nursing - outside of their formal nursing education program. A healthcare facility's CEP must be pre-approved by the SDBON prior to initiating a program and hiring nursing students. Approved CEPs pair a student with an experienced RN preceptor who is required to supervise the student in the clinical experience.
