South Dakota Tobacco Control Program

Strengthening Community Leadership Mini Grants

2012

The South Dakota Department of Health, Tobacco Control Program is excited to offer a funding opportunity for those working to create healthier communities through improving local tobacco prevention and control efforts and strengthening community leadership.  This new funding opportunity will include a mini grant up to $5,000 and is available on a first come, first serve basis.  Funds can be used to cover the costs associated with a grant facilitator stipend, coalition meetings, and public education.  Technical assistance and training will also be furnished along with the mini grant and will provide practical tools designed to strengthen partnerships and enhance the collaboration needed to apply for future funding.
