Linda Young, MS, RN, Program Director
Linda was appointed as Program Director for the South Dakota Center for Nursing Workforce in November 2004, and has served as Nursing Program Specialist for the South Dakota Board of Nursing since January 2004, focusing on Advanced Practice Nursing licensure and scope of practice. Linda began her nursing career in 1988. She has held various nursing positions in neonatal, adult critical care, oncology, and human resource development consultant/staff development specialist roles, and taught medical/surgical clinicals as adjunct faculty. Professionally, Linda has been actively involved in nursing organizations. She has held officer positions with the South Dakota Nurses Association (SDNA) at both state and local levels, and for the local Zeta Zeta Chapter of International Sigma Theta Tau.
