SDCL 36-9-96 (2) Convene representatives of nurses, health care providers, consumers, educators, government officials, and other individuals in business and industry to review and comment on data analysis; make recommendations for action; and evaluate effectiveness of actions implemented;
SDCL 36-9-96 (6) Evaluate the effectiveness of state initiatives implemented to address nursing workforce capacities and requirements;
Conduct bi-annual public forum(s) to be held in same year of publication of SD CNW Report of Nursing Workforce Supply in SD.
i. Forum(s) to be planned for those interested to comment on actions of CNW Governance Council and Committees and to provide input for future strategy to be implemented through Council and Committees.
Evaluate expansion of nursing programs and determine number of new nurses South Dakota schools must prepare using formula developed by DOL, BOR, and BON.
Evaluate effectiveness of Health Professional Recruitment Incentive Program (HPRIP) in collaboration with the DOH/Office of Rural Health as related to nursing positions.
