Audio-Visual Resources Catalog

The resource materials listed at this site are provided by the various programs of the department's Division of Health & Medical Services. Resources are available on a first-come-first-serve basis.

The catalog is organized into two lists—the first by subject and the second alphabetically by audio-visual/resource material title.The subject index lists each resource under appropriate subject headings. An item may be listed under more than one subject if appropriate.

The main part of the catalog lists each item in alphabetical order by complete title. Also provided is a listing of the type of audio-visual, the copyright year, the length of audio-visual in minutes and appropriate audience age, if available. The key for each list follows. A brief summary of each item is provided. The number that follows the summary, i.e. NS 544, is the Item Number.

PS = preschool
EL = elementary
JH = junior high
HS = high school
A = adult
P = professional

Return items borrowed immediately after use. Since resources are ordered and scheduled in advance, it is essential that items are returned promptly to avoid inconvenience to the next borrower.
Directions and a shipping label will be enclosed with the materials if the item needs to be sent to another location other than the Resource Center in Wessington Springs.
Materials may not be checked out to or by a third party. As the borrower, you are responsible for the materials and their prompt return. Materials may be returned either by UPS or US Postal Service.
Please contact the Resource Center if a cancellation occurs in the scheduling of showing. This allows materials to become available for others.
Please rewind all videos and cassettes.
Each display includes a Packing List. Please be sure each item on the Packing List is included in the display before returning to the Resource Center.
None of the audio-visual materials may be copied.
There is no fee for using items from the Resource Center. Postage expense to return the items is the responsibility of the borrower.
