The Board of Funeral Service convened on Thursday, August 23, 2007 on the Digital Dakota Network at Arlington-Arlington High School, Armour-Armour High School, Brookings-South Dakota State University, SPC203, 8th & Medary Ave., Madison-Dakota State University TCB 103, NE 6th & N Egan Ave., Pierre-500 E. Capitol-CAP A, Rapid City-South Dakota School of Mines and Technology-CB109-501 E. St. Joseph St., Spearfish-Black Hills State University-E.Y. Library. The purpose of the meeting was to conduct a public hearing on the proposed rules changes set forth below:

Members of the Board in Attendance: Charles Johnson, Carter Wiese, Alfred Rude, Robert Ellsworth, Daryl Isburg and Susan Bentsen.
Members of the Board absent: Jim Benham.
Others in attendance: Attorney Thomas W. Stanton, Carol Tellinghuisen, Executive Secretary, Jill Lesselyoung, Executive Assistant.
President Johnson opened the Public Hearing at 3:10PM MT. There being no members of the public present and no written testimony from the public, the members proceeded to discuss and vote upon the rules. Bentsen moved and Isburg seconded to adopt the rules as amended. Motion carried by roll call vote; Johnson-yes, Wiese-yes, Rude-yes, Ellsworth-yes, Isburg-yes, and Bentsen-yes. There being no further rules business; President Johnson called for a motion to adjourn. Isburg moved and Rude seconded to adjourn the meeting at 3:15PM MT. Motion carried by unanimous vote.
